- Duplicate an object quickly with Command + D
- Delete the main camera when you add your own
- Limit characters to 30 bones
- Use one mesh per character, HL2 used 2500-5000 triangles per character

- Use a single model with all animations in there
- Maxis uses hair meshes from 500-3000 polygons for the Sims2
- Maxis uses body meshes from 1600-2500 polygons for the Sims2
- Maxis uses 800 polygons per tile, sometimes exceeded to as high as 2000
- If you need to share animations, use this advice
- Import IK animations with the Bake Animations flag on
- #pragma strict will enforce strong typing in Javascript. this is turned on by default on iphone for performance
