Listening to him talk with Neil Strauss. The order of importance for him
- Nutrition
- Recovery
- Training
Eating six small meals per day is more important than working out.
- Get up, eat a meal. Its the first thing you should do. Oatmeal, breads are fine.
- Spread out your meals, every 3 hours or your body shuts down.
- Chicken, steak, fish. Prefer it over the protein drinks, but they are ok if needed.
- If you don't sleep, you don't recover.
- Cook most of the food during the weekends. Measure it out and package it.
- Fruits? Love them. Eat them in the morning as their are carbs. Proteins throughout the whole day.
- Eat right after your workout. Your body is traumatized, give it proteins and carbs.
- Zone Diet, South Beach, etc, made for diabetics.
- Cardio only burns, weightlifting both burns and builds.
- Work smarter not harder.
- Don't get stressed, releases cortizol.
- Training: be basic.
- Low reps build muscle
- Lift as heavy as you can for 5-12 reps and eat right and you'll get ripped.

1 hour a day, 5 days a week
Don't work more than that, work smarter, not harder
